Early redemption of postal savings certificate
From October 1, 1953 until November 1, 1955 the fee for redeeming a postal savings certificate within the first 30 days after issue was ten cents.
A ten-cent Prexie was used to show that the fee had been paid on this certificate issued on June 16, 1954 and redeemed on July 1 of that year.
