The Twenty-four-cent Prexie
Sheet stamp use
Perhaps the most common solo use of the twenty-four-cent Prexie was to pay fifteen cents minimum registration fee, three cents return receipt fee, and six cents airmail postage, a possible combination from July 1, 1934 until March 26, 1944.
This airmail letter was sent from the National Labor Relations Board registered, return receipt requested, in 1940.
