The Twenty-five-cent Prexie

Multiple rates

The most obvious multiple mailing that could have used a solo twenty-five cent Prexie was five times the five-cent airmail rate of October 1, 1946 to January 1, 1949.

An airmail cover sent at five times the rate in 1948.

This cover paid double the six-cent military concession airmail rate plus thirteen cents for special delivery early in 1945.
APO 717 was stationed in New Caledonia at the time. The Blue Envelope would have been used for mail that was censored only at the Chief Base Censor level.
