The Three-cent Prexie
Drop letter at a non-carrier post office
Three cents was the non-carrier post office drop rate for a one ounce or less letter from August 1, 1958 until January 7, 1963. The three-cent Liberty series stamp was issued in 1954, so use of a Prexie on such a letter is quite unusual.
